Where do I get a book "on reserve"?

Books that have been placed "on reserve" by faculty members are kept behind the front desk on the library's main floor. These books can be checked out for a limited period of time (usually 3 hours) but may not leave the library. To check out a reserve book, see a library staff member at the front desk and be prepared to provide the either the title of the book or the name of the class and instructor.

Please be aware: course textbooks are not automatically placed on reserve in the library. Faculty members need to submit a request to the library to have materials placed on reserve. (Faculty: see our Reserves Policy guide for a form and more information.)
